Is a subwoofer box that big of a deal? Like will it make that much of a difference?
Now I have a kenwood sub with a crappy sealed box kit thing from walmart for 20 bucks. Would it make that much of a difference if I got a QLogic box or something more professional?
I have noticed that my bass can sound really airy, and i don't feel like im getting the full potential. I usually listen to rock, ocassionaly rap among other things. What would be a good choice for a new box? Ported, Sealed? Bandpass is prolly to big for my trunk
90% install, 10% equipment...
The box will make the biggest difference in how your subs sound. Go for either ported or sealed (depending on what ur sub is recommended for) and get a shop to build it for you. Dont buy prefab...
