What are the best 4x6 speakers to buy?

I'm looking to upgrade the speakers in my truck, and for the front i have some sony explod speakers that worked well until they started crackling while i turned up the volume to a certain level. So now i need some new ones that can handle a higher volume of music.

Screw the 4 by 6's. Replace them with component speakers. Just get make yourself a mounting bracket out of mdf. 5.25" component speakers should fit with a bit of tweaking. Then buy yourself a two channel amplifier to power them so you can get full potential out of them.

If you have the money look into Focal, Dynaudio, Hertz, Morel or Brax for component speakers.
Best Bang For your buck- look into infinity (kappa line) possibly pioneer premier

If you have the money look into Zapco, U.S. amps, sundown, or perhaps audison for amps
Hifonics is cheap power. You can pick up MB Quart for cheap since maxsonics bought em out.
