How To Install Outdoor Speakers ?
To install the outdoor speakers you will need an electronic drill, a long ¼ inch drill bit, a screw driver, a flat headed screw driver and speaker wire.
While installing the speakers, firstly, you must examine the walls of the outside area where you want to install the outdoor speakers. You must always choose to place the outdoor speakers in an area normally above the reach of anyone coming there. Then mark the points where you want to install the speakers. If you are mounting the speakers on the walls, then mark the same points from the other side of the walls too as you will be running the cables through these holes.i.e. www.audiovideoking.com
Using a ¼ inch drill bit, drill holes on the marked areas for all the speakers. Then, run the wires from your music system through the holes that you have drilled. To make a job look more neat and clean place the wires at such a place where they are hidden. With this you will never worry that anyone might trip over the wires or bump into them.
Then use a flat headed screw driver to fix the brackets on which you want to mount the speakers. These mounting brackets mostly come with the outside speakers and if there are no brackets then there will be holes already made at the back of the speakers to hang them. In such cases you will need only one or two mounting screws to hang the speakers. And lastly, you can install the wires into the connectors fixed in the back of the speakers and hang them on the screws or the mounting brackets.

6 1/2 speakers in rear deck?
I want to replace the 6X9" factory speakers in my rear deck with similar speakers, but on sites such as crutchfield they say that 6X9" speakers will not fit in my car. A sales associate from Crutchfield stated to me that "Aftermarket 6x9" speakers can fit in the factory openings by drilling new speaker holes, but I'm afraid that none of the 6x9" speakers that we offer will fit under the factory speaker grilles due to mounting height restrictions.". He suggested I could put 6 1/2 speakers in the back using special mounting brackets. Do you recommend drilling new speaker holes and putting 6X9"s in the back or putting 6.5's?
A good 6.5 can sound as good as a 6x9 I'm talking about components ofcourse. I never did like oval speaker i think round ones are better but that's just me if you are not afraid to make holes on your car go right ahead you can also look into 5x7's
